Use of the Site

Our online store is intended for customers who are 18 years of age or older. By placing an order, you confirm that you meet this age requirement. Customers under 18 years of age must have the consent of their guardian to place an order. We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone for any reason at any time.

Shipping Terms

Shipping is free for all orders within the EU until further notice. We reserve the right to modify shipping fees, and any changes will be communicated in advance on our website. The total shipping cost, if applicable, will be clearly displayed at checkout before order confirmation.

Estimated Delivery Time

The estimated delivery time is 4–7 business days within Finland and the rest of Europe. Delivery times may vary depending on order volume, destination, and external factors beyond our control.

Refund and returns

Returns policy lasts 14 days from delivery. If 14 days have passed since you got your purchase, we can’t offer you a full refund or exchange.

To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging.

Several types of goods are exempt from being returned. We do not accept products that are intimate or sanitary goods (swim suits or underwear).

Additional non-returnable items:

  • Gift cards
  • Downloadable software products
  • Some health and personal care items

The right to cancel an order does not apply to goods that are made to the consumer’s specifications or clearly customized to meet personal needs (custom made products).

To complete your return, we require a receipt or proof of purchase (your order number).

Please do not send your purchase back to the manufacturer. You will get the return address after you have informed us via email info@nijinook.fi and we have approved your return.

There are certain situations where only partial refunds are granted:

  • Any item not in its original condition, is damaged or missing parts for reasons not due to our error
  • Any item that is returned more than 14 days after delivery

GPSR Warranty and Limitation of Liability

The quality of our products and the satisfaction of our customers are important to us. We obay General Product Safety Regulation for the EU (GPSR). However, we have defined our responsibilities as follows:

Defects Liability

We provide a statutory defect liability for our products. This means that any manufacturing or material defects found in the product will be refunded, repaired, or replaced at no additional cost to the customer. In case of an issue, please contact us promptly and include photos of the defect along with any other relevant evidence.

Limitation of Liability according to EU GPSR

We are not responsible for the following situations:

  • Normal Wear and Tear: Natural wear and tear associated with the use of the products (e.g., fading of prints over time or wear on the fabric of garments).
  • Misuse: Damage caused by improper use, use contrary to the instructions, or negligence.
  • External Factors: Such as washing errors, external damage, or other factors unrelated to the product’s original manufacturing quality.

We reserve the right to modify prices and shipping fees.

Uncollected packages

Uncollected packages incur significant costs for our company. Under the law (1211/2013), we reserve the right to charge the customer for the costs incurred if delivered packages are returned to us as uncollected. The chargeable fee is €15 per uncollected package, including shipping, return, and handling costs. Please be mindful of your package’s pickup deadline and inform us if you are unable to collect your package within the given timeframe.

Refund process

Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.

If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within a certain amount of days.

Late or missing refunds

If you haven’t received a refund yet, first check your bank account again.

Then contact your credit card company, it may take some time before your refund is officially posted.

Next contact your bank. There is often some processing time before a refund is posted.

Sale items

Only regular priced items may be refunded. Sale items cannot be refunded.

We only replace items if they are defective or damaged. If you need to exchange it for the same item, send us an email at info@nijinook.fi and we will give you the return address. Note: You may need to pay the return cost yourself unless the goods are defective or damaged.

If the item was marked as a gift when purchased and shipped directly to you, you’ll receive a gift credit for the value of your return. Once the returned item is received, a gift certificate will be mailed to you.

If the item wasn’t marked as a gift when purchased, or the gift giver had the order shipped to themselves to give to you later, we will send a refund to the gift giver and they will find out about your return.

How to return a product

To return your product, you should email us info@nijinook.fi so we give you the address to send your product to.

You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund.

Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you may vary.

If you are returning more expensive items, you may consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We don’t guarantee that we will receive your returned item.
